“Extend your arms in welcome to the future. The best is yet to come.” - Anthony de Mello

Jimmy was born in San Antonio, Texas and grew up within walking distance to Innova Recovery Centerʼs headquarters in Castle Hills. He graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Health Professions and a major in Long-Term Care Administration. After obtaining his license as a nursing facility administrator, Jimmy oversaw the daily operations of several post-acute healthcare facilities across Texas specializing in skilled nursing and comprehensive rehabilitation. During his career, Jimmy also lived in Ethiopia where he worked with extremely impoverished/underserved communities and along with his wife, founded a U.S. nonprofit organization which provided mental health and other psychosocial support services to hundreds of children who were victims of child trafficking. In addition, Jimmy lived in Jordan where he managed an organization which used trauma related modalities to help refugee children in Jordan, Turkey, and the Occupied Palestinian Territories recover from the violence of war. Jimmy has led multi-disciplinary healthcare teams for over 20 years and is excited to be able to use his diverse experiences to contribute to Innova Recovery Centerʼs overall success. He wholeheartedly believes in the significance of Innova Recovery Centerʼs mission, to “identify and address the internal wounds of our clients.”

In his free time, Jimmy enjoys gardening, cooking, spending time in nature, and traveling around the world with his wife and 4 children.
