Stacey is a retired Air Force Veteran with a bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling. After retiring from the Air Force, Stacey followed her passion of working with those struggling with mental health and substance use disorders; she is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC).
Stacey has worked in a variety of dual-diagnosis facilities; she has worked with clients from every facet of life. Stacey is extremely passionate about this field and considers it a privilege to be walking this journey with her clients, as they learn and develop the skills necessary to live a happier and more fulfilled life. Stacey is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); utilizes Dialectical Behavior, Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Brief Therapies with her clients.
Stacey is well versed in Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) and educates her clients on the tools necessary to combat these behaviors. She believes that empowering the client through the treatment process is vital in the healing process. Stacey believes in life-long learning and continually seeks out new opportunities to gain more knowledge in her field.
Stacey is happily married to a wonderful man; she and her veteran husband have 3 amazing daughters and are enjoying not only being called “mom” and “dad”; but “grandma and grandpa!” Stacey enjoys going on hikes, listening to music, and seeking out her next favorite quote.
