Travis W. Johnson Sr., M.A., LPCA

Primary Therapist

To be wise, you must pursue wisdom.

Travis is a native Floridian, but got to Texas as quickly as possible, back when dinosaurs roamed the earth.  Travis is a veteran of the USAF where he learned what NOT to do, and graduate from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Political Science, a B.A. in Psychology, and an M.A. in Counseling and Education, but don't let that fool you, he's still just a country boy.  Travis began serving the community in Christian ministry in 1984 and has a biblical focus on counseling.

Travis has worked with teens, single adults, married couples, as well as retirees. He has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-focused therapy and is currently completing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). You should be asking yourself, "Why would I go to anyone else with my concerns?"  You are very astute asking such a good question.  Let's talk about it and find out?
