Transitional Living at Lehua House

Transitional living offers a bridge for individuals to move from residential treatment to independent life while still living in a supportive setting. It can also serve to help individuals avoid residential treatment by moving into a healthy environment where they can feel loved and supported. Lehua House does just that.

The Lehua House is open to anyone in the Innova Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) with therapist approval. Other requirements include attending a weekly house meeting and working or volunteering at least 20 hours per week. Details on house rules can be found here.

What is Lehua House?

Lehua House, a transitional living home, is nestled in a quiet neighborhood that backs up to a greenway for evening walks. Complete with a pool and movie room for your entertainment pleasure, it is a sanctuary for healing. A house mother lives on-site, making herself available as needed to offer support and accountability. Rent can be paid week by week, decreasing the stress of monthly bulk payments. All bills are included in the low weekly fee.

Who Can Benefit from Transitional Living?

Do you find yourself unable to move forward because of your environment? Are you not quite ready to live alone but still want independence? Do you need something to bridge the gap between this phase of life and the next? If yes to any of these, transitional living may be the solution for you.

What Makes Lehua House Different?

Lehua House was designed with those healing from trauma in mind. Unlike other sober living homes that mandate involvement in AA, eliminating those without alcohol issues, Lehua is open to anyone recovering from life.

Lehua is a small home, with only 4 women, allowing for privacy and deeper connections to be developed.

Lehua’s central location allows for ease of travel to anywhere in the city.

Stay as long- or short- as you need. No leases to sign.
